Mucha! Mucha! Mucha-mania. I've recently found out about Mucha and been getting inspiration overload. The guy is awesome! Anyways, Mucha+Halloween= this took me forever to finish, been working none stop all week. All done in Photoshop and with a mouse (that's why it's taken so long). It was worth it though.

So, this is the first of four pictures that will represent a theme of halloween. This one is, of course, Pumpkins. The next three will be of Candy, Monsters, and Pranks. This is what I consider to be the themes of Halloween. Got any other suggestions?

I've just updated a little bit. Taking in all your comments and critiques, i tried to do more to the frame work. i realized that it wasn't as intricate as mucha's frame and i think that's what made it seem flatter, so i added more details, nothing much, just some more line work.

Hm, well actually Mucha colors his fugures in the same style as the organic ornaments he adds. That's the reason why your figure and your background don't match very good.
I'd say also that your picture would look lotsa better WITHOUT the organic ornaments.

Thanks, but i wasn't really trying to copy Mucha's, instead I used it as an inspiration and add my own touch. Hence, using a digital medium like photoshop, because it a way i like to work.

If by ornaments, you mean the leaves, then i've only laid down the color, forgot all about them. I'm finishing that up!

I think that is nice contrast. Thienbaos outlined lady against Muchas ladies, which have everyone "in eye". Good work, Bao, I like it!

Who doesn't love Mucha! (I'd like to add that Ikaa's work are too inspired by Mucha, so are some of jimiyo's.) I want her pumpkin-heeled boots.

Lovely design and excellent execution as usual, you seem to adapt to different styles and media quite well, damn I'm jealous!
