It's gorgeous, but I do think the gold ornaments seem pasted in. The nose, lips, and ear are lovely, though, and I adore her cloud of hair (but perhaps giving it some more contrasty strands would help ground the gold ornament?). Very pretty.

I thought it was a nice contrast of the intricate ear piece and everything else, maybe a bit too much contrast. I agree that I could do more to incorporate it. I think I saw it as a more graphic piece in the beginning. Logically, that thing can't be connected to her, so I think I just left it at that.

The girl and the background are both way to simple to look interesting, but then that ear ornament lifts the painting so incredibly much! The detail of the ornament is truly amazing, and it looks 100% like real gold. You sure know where to place the shades and what colours to use. Oh, and there's a nice little butterfly next to it, too! I love the contrast between the simple surroundings and the detailed gold. Yet, maybe you could have made the simple surroundings just a little bit smaller, because it's a bit too much of it now, even with the ornament there. It gets a little dull.

I think the reason why the very nice jewellery looks like it was pasted in is that it doesn't seem to drop and shadows or reflections on the girl.
The ring on her hand seem to be a similar case, but because that part is brighter, it blends in a lot better, I'd say.

She looks so incredibly lovely. The most thrilling parts is mouth and nose. Smoothness combined to color palette really makes it here.
Here eye makeup is so striking, too.

Only thing I don't like is the photographic golden elements. They just seem to stick out oddly, especially at her neck. Casting shadow could help.

I love the colors. Her creamy white skintone goes well with the background. This reminds me of the 60's because of the polka dots and the hairdo. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
